In the year 2000, he tied the knot with Jaclyn Hall, and in that same year, his one and only son, Trevor Smyth, was born. Trevor grew up to be more than just a son; he was also a close friend and confidant.
Lance did not always play by the rules of life while he was growing up, from the time he was a little boy until he became an adult and a dad. This made his journey more challenging at times, but also more beautiful and one of a kind overall. The life that Lance led was one that might be described as both average and remarkable at the same time.

All of these activities are possible to find him doing. He was a surefire way to have a good time. One of Lance’s most impressive qualities was the breadth and depth of his practical expertise.
A dependable source of information on any subject, Lance’s profundity had no limits and his knowledge ranged from mechanics, plants, and animals to the issues of the soul, scripture, and the nature of man. Even though Lance’s passing away at such a young age may appear to be premature to those on Earth, the unyielding faith he maintained throughout his life and the intimate connection he shared with God provide the consolation that his eternal life will be in excellent hands. t is a source of consolation to know that Lance will soon be reunited with his cherished father, D.G. Smyth of Uvalde, whom he cherished throughout his life. His step-father, Kevin Dunn, who lived in Dilley, Texas, passed away before him as well.
